Exclusive event at Hotel W Barcelona

Amazing technical deployment for a big worldwide company

Last June has been so busy for our team of Tecnorent. However with no doubt, THIS one was the event of the month in terms of technical requirements.

Our customer, one of the top ten pharma’s companies, order us to “clone” a previous event in Las Vegas, including the set, furniture, carpets etc  the Hotel W Barcelona was the perfect venue to go ahead with this request.

The figures: 2 days setup, 2 days rehearsals, 3 days event, 1000.sqm plenary season, 6 parallel Breakouts sessions, more than 20 techs team.

Break outs

We set 6 rooms with P.A sound systems, 15 x 85” 4k screens, bullet cams and 1-2 techs per room.

We would like to highlight “the digital surgery room”. In this one, our client simulated a remote surgery taking the advantages of the VR technologies, the robotic arm was handled live from the USA.

Plenary room

The main room was a challenge for our team, starting with the coordination of the involved companies, logistics and hundreds of details, everything should be ready for the show.

A huge event needs a huge venue, the 1000 sqm of the great room at the Hotel W was take up completely.

The built started with the set and the stage, and after that with our 2.6dp LED screen, we built 5 screens, in total 26 x 3.5m, 9.984 x 1344 pixels an amazing 5K resolution!!!

The contents were played through a 4K resolumen media server, used for image processing and the coordination between contents and screens.

The Spyder x80 by Christie was in charge of the video signal, today’s most powerful multi-screen widowing processor was the core of the event, awesome video machine for an awesome meeting.

Thanks to the Spyder X80 we managed a total of 13 screens using 15 of its outputs (5 LED, 4 DSM, 2 notes, 2 Multiview). Regarding the inputs, more than 20 laptops were used for ppt, video, contents and live streaming from different parts of the world, robo cams and countdowns, our highly skilled team solved perfectly the challenge.
